Rosneft Teams Up with MDI Gurgaon and SPbU for Strategic HR Development
At the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosneft signed a cooperation agreement with Management Development Institute Gurgaon and St. Petersburg State University to advance HR training. The collaboration aims to enhance workforce skills through joint programs focusing on digitalization and technology in the oil and gas sector.

During the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a pivotal cooperation agreement was signed by Rosneft with Management Development Institute Gurgaon and St. Petersburg State University, aiming at personnel development. The accord, executed by Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin, SPbU Rector Nikolai Kropachev, and MDI Director Professor Arvind Sakhai, establishes a new era of joint educational initiatives.
The partnership will see the creation of joint executive-education programs run by the Graduate School of Management at SPbU and MDI Gurgaon. These programs will cover crucial areas like oil and gas technology, digital transformation, logistics efficiency, and artificial intelligence. Additionally, the initiative includes study visits to Indian energy companies, allowing Rosneft specialists to learn from industry best practices.
Rosneft anticipates that this collaboration will expand the company's strategic ties with both academic partners while fortifying its human capital capabilities. The initiative is aimed at fostering a sustainable, mutually beneficial relationship and addressing complex company business challenges through advanced skill development.
