SRM Tech and SRMIST Forge Alliance to Drive Future Mobility Innovations

In a significant move to advance talent development and innovation in the mobility sector, SRM Technologies and SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) have strengthened their partnership. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, focusing on research commercialization and co-creation of solutions for mobility challenges worldwide.

The partnership is timely as the global automotive landscape undergoes transformations with software-defined vehicles, AI, and connected ecosystems. SRM Tech and SRMIST are working to build future-ready talent and facilitate meaningful innovations that cater to the pressing needs of the mobility industry.

As part of this initiative, SRM Tech has offered internships to 15 students from the School of Mechanical Engineering, providing hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Battery Management Systems. Specialized faculty development programs further ensure that academia stays in tune with the latest industry trends. Both organizations are exploring future projects, including a dedicated R&D lab and curriculum enhancements, to foster industry-relevant skills in students.
