In a devastating incident on the Khatima-Panipat highway, four pilgrims from Gujarat were killed, and one sustained critical injuries when their car fell from a flyover in Muzaffarnagar on Monday.

Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar reported that the accident happened near Rampur Tiraha as the group was en route to Kedarnath. The driver lost control of the Toyota Innova, causing it to plunge into the fields below.

The deceased, identified as Bharat (22), Amit (24), Karan (26), and Vipul (21), hailed from Tarapur in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The fifth passenger was taken to the district hospital for urgent care, with police quickly arriving to handle the situation and initiate a rescue operation.
