A Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft tragically crashed into the Milestone School and College in Dhaka's Uttara area on Monday, resulting in the deaths of at least 16 individuals, most of whom were children. The incident has left dozens injured, officials confirmed.
According to a statement from the defense ministry, the F-7 BGI training aircraft took off at 1:06 pm and collided with the college campus shortly thereafter, sparking a significant fire upon impact.
Police reported that emergency response teams, including firefighting units, ambulances, and air force helicopters, swiftly arrived at the scene. A teacher described a harrowing scene as ambulances ferried the wounded to nearby hospitals.
