Global Outcry: Call for Humanitarian Shift in Gaza
Over 20 nations, including Britain and France, demand an end to the Gaza conflict, criticizing Israeli aid methods as hundreds have died near distribution centers. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation's U.S.-backed model, bypassing U.N. systems, faces condemnation for fueling instability and depriving Gazans of dignity.

In a significant diplomatic move, Britain and over 20 other countries have urged an immediate cessation of hostilities in Gaza, lambasting the Israeli government's approach to aid distribution following recent casualties in the region.
With more than 800 Palestinians reportedly killed near aid sites, nations including France, Italy, and Japan have condemned the "drip feeding of aid," criticizing its humanitarian impact. Most fatalities occurred around the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) distribution sites, which now operate under a U.S.- and Israel-supported system, replacing a previous U.N.-led network.
Foreign ministers from these countries highlighted the danger and instability of the current model, asserting it undermines human dignity. The GHF, relying heavily on U.S. private security and logistics, bypasses U.N. systems accused of being exploited by Hamas-led groups, an allegation denied by Hamas. As tensions heighten, the U.N. criticizes the model for breaching humanitarian standards.
