School Van Collision Leaves 14 Injured in Saurikh

A school van carrying thirteen children and their driver collided head-on with a truck in Saurikh on Monday morning, resulting in injuries for all involved. The incident took place around 9:30 am near the Ibrahimpur culvert, involving a van from the MSA Education Centre.
Witnesses reported seeing smoke billowing from the van following the collision. Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar noted that local residents and kanwariyas passing by quickly intervened to rescue the young primary class students and their driver from the wreckage.
Several of the injured were taken to a hospital in Chhibramau, while two children required more advanced treatment and were referred to Tirwa Medical College. One child suffered a fractured arm, while the others sustained minor injuries. Police have seized the truck and are currently searching for its driver.
