Tragic Road Accidents in Uttarakhand Claim Lives of Kanwariyas
Two road accidents in Uttarakhand on Monday claimed the lives of three individuals, including two kanwariyas. In Dehradun, a motorcycle accident resulted in two fatalities and three injuries. In Chamoli, a separate crash killed one and injured another. The deceased have not all been identified yet.

Tragedy struck in Uttarakhand as two road accidents claimed three lives, including that of two kanwariyas. The State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) reported a motorcycle crash near Bhaniyawala flyover in Dehradun. Two Lord Shiva devotees died, while three others were injured, two critically.
Authorities are working to identify the victims of the Dehradun accident as medical personnel tend to the injured at a local hospital. Meanwhile, SEOC confirmed another fatal crash occurred in Chamoli district.
In Chamoli, 25-year-old Vikrant from Meerut lost his life. His companion, Navin, aged 21, received treatment at Jyotirmath's Community Health Centre. These accidents highlight the risks faced by highway travelers during the Kanwar Yatra pilgrimage.
