The British F-35B fighter jet, grounded at the international airport since June 14 due to a technical snag, has taken off after completing necessary maintenance. Airport sources confirmed that the jet departed at 10.50 am, heading to Darwin, Australia.

The advanced F-35B had been parked at the airport since it made an emergency landing over a month ago. On Monday, the stealth aircraft was moved from the hangar to the airport bay in preparation for its flight.
