An Air India Express flight scheduled to depart from Delhi to Mumbai was grounded due to a technical malfunction, affecting approximately 160 passengers. The incident occurred Wednesday evening when cockpit screens showing speed parameters experienced issues.
A spokesperson for Air India Express stated that, despite the inconvenience, passenger safety took precedence over operational schedules. The plane, identified as an A320, had to deboard its passengers and arrange an alternative flight to Mumbai.
This incident follows another from Wednesday when an Air India Express flight heading to Doha made a precautionary return to Calicut after encountering a technical problem mid-air, underscoring the airline's commitment to safety.
