The State Bank of India, the country's largest lender, has announced a significant recruitment drive by onboarding 13,455 new employees to serve as junior associates. This strategic move aims to enhance customer services across the nation.
In another development, BharatSure, an insurtech firm, declared a successful fundraising of Rs 6 crore. The round was led by Inflection Point Ventures, along with contributions from Capital A and Atrium Angels. The capital will facilitate scaling up BharatSure's infrastructure, promoting easier access to insurance for businesses and users.
Meanwhile, McDonald's India, operating in the West and South regions, has introduced a 'protein slice' to its burgers. This vegetarian addition will provide 5 grams of protein per slice, aligning with the fast-food giant's push for healthy options.
