Procter & Gamble, a leading FMCG multinational, has announced India-born Shailesh Jejurikar as its upcoming Chief Executive Officer. Jejurikar, who takes over on January 1, 2026, is currently the Chief Operating Officer and will succeed Jon Moeller. He joined the company in 1989 as an assistant brand manager and has contributed to major business developments.
Jejurikar has played a pivotal role in P&G's core businesses across regions such as North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. His leadership in Supply Chain, IT, and Global Business Services has been instrumental. This appointment places him among an elite group of Indian executives leading global giants, including Satya Nadella of Microsoft, Sundar Pichai of Google, and Shantanu Narayen of Adobe.
The trend of Indian executives in top-level positions at international corporations continues to grow. Other notable figures include Arvind Krishna of IBM, and Sanjay Mehrotra of Micron Technology, highlighting a significant global influence of Indian leadership in diverse sectors.
