Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), a major player in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, announced a 5.97% increase in its consolidated net profit for the June quarter of FY26. The net profit reached Rs 2,768 crore, showing resilience amid a re-evaluation of tax payments from previous years.
The company's revenue saw a 5.15% upswing, hitting Rs 16,296 crore, bolstered by significant volume growth. Despite a 6.4% decline in profit before tax, the profit after tax rose nearly 6%, demonstrating robust operational performance.
HUL's strategic investments continued to fuel growth, particularly within its Home Care and Beauty & Wellbeing segments. Home Care experienced a 1.83% boost in revenue, while Beauty & Wellbeing posted a remarkable 10.7% increase. CEO Rohit Jawa emphasized a stable FMCG demand and positive macro-economic trends.
