Cooperative giant IFFCO has announced the appointment of K J Patel as its new Managing Director, succeeding the long-serving U S Awasthi.
Dileep Sanghani, IFFCO's Chairman, expressed confidence in Patel's leadership, highlighting his extensive experience in mechanical engineering and fertiliser plant operations.
Under Awasthi's leadership, IFFCO saw a substantial 16% rise in net profit and a 4.5% increase in turnover, driven by sales including nano liquid urea.
