Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on Friday its latest achievement: securing a contract ranging between Rs 2,500-5,000 crore from Vedanta group firm Hindustan Zinc. This initiative involves the intricate design and commissioning of one of their major plants, underscoring L&T's prominence in the minerals and metals industry.
The awarded project, integral to Hindustan Zinc's expansion plans, will see the establishment of a 250 kilotonne per annum (KTPA) facility at the Debari Smelter Complex in Rajasthan. This facility is set to produce high-grade zinc cathodes, vital for the company's growth and strategic objectives.
