Godrej Properties is poised to meet or surpass its ambitious Rs 32,500 crore sales booking target for the fiscal year, as housing demand remains robust, according to Executive Chairperson Pirojsha Godrej.
In an interview with PTI, Pirojsha emphasized that the earlier buoyancy in the housing market post-COVID has moderated, yet demand conditions remain strong. The company experienced an 18% drop in pre-sales to Rs 7,082 crore in the first quarter.
Pirojsha attributed the decline to a high base effect and project launch delays, while expressing confidence in reaching the sales goal through a strong launch pipeline. Despite global uncertainties, the housing market is stabilizing, with continued but calmer demand.
