Mumbai International Airport, under the operation of the Adani Group and Airports Authority of India, recorded a stable year-on-year passenger count of 1.36 crore for the April-June 2023 period, showing resilience amidst disturbance.

Factors such as geopolitical challenges, along with regional airspace and Middle Eastern airspace restrictions, led to a challenging environment. Nevertheless, the airport managed to sustain its operational pace, as International Air Traffic Movements saw a 3.3% growth.

The airport introduced a new user development fee. Additionally, April and June saw the launch of new routes by Air Astana and Royal Jordanian Airlines, enhancing connectivity to the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
