Guwahati Gears Up for International Terminal Launch

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the upcoming November opening of the new international terminal at Guwahati airport. According to Sarma, this state-of-the-art infrastructure promises to significantly enhance both local and international connectivity.
A Bhutanese delegation, visiting from Gelephu Mindful City, reviewed the terminal's construction progress. They commended the project for its potential to strengthen ties between India and Bhutan.
Additionally, Sarma revealed plans to construct five more foot over-bridges in Guwahati, aiming to improve pedestrian safety between Khanapara and Jalukbari.
