Bajaj Electricals Faces Financial Shock with 97% Profit Plunge

Bajaj Electricals Ltd reported a significant 97% drop in consolidated net profit to Rs 91 lakh for Q1 ending June 2025. Bajaj Electricals Ltd experienced a staggering 97% drop in consolidated net profit, recording just Rs 91 lakh for the first quarter ending June 30, 2025, compared to last year's Rs 28.11 crore.

The decline is attributed mainly to a fall in sales from the consumer products segment and a significant ex gratia payment associated with its Nashik facility.

Despite the challenges, the company witnessed slight growth in its lighting solutions revenue, which increased from Rs 249.75 crore to Rs 257.59 crore.
