At an international summit focused on cyber warfare, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted significant advances in Uttar Pradesh's forensic capabilities, noting the expansion from four to 12 modern labs, with six more underway. He stressed the importance of technological adoption in creating a secure society.

Adityanath praised the UP Police's proactive stance in strengthening technology infrastructure, including the establishment of cyber police stations and mobile forensic units across all districts. Cyber help desks operate in 1,587 stations, resolving cases with master trainers' assistance.

Since 2017, mandatory forensic evidence in crimes has expedited open cases, reducing the time to apprehend criminals to 24-48 hours. Adityanath also inaugurated a new DNA center and robotics lab, underscoring continued efforts to modernize the police force for future challenges.
