The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced a strategic partnership with Madison, part of the Terminus Group and JV Ventures, to develop ten new hotels under the Ginger brand in southern India.

The initiative will see Madison invest around Rs 500 crore, bringing over 1,000 new hotel keys to the region through greenfield and brownfield projects. The first undertaking is a 75-key property in Telangana's Genome Valley, embracing a capital-light operating lease model.

This expansion looks to tap into the mid-scale hospitality market, offering modern amenities for industrial and spiritual towns. IHCL's Executive VP, Suma Venkatesh, highlights the diverse locations these hotels will target, while Madison Co-Founder SP Reddy notes the facilities will enhance local business ecosystems.
