Renault's Strategic Leadership Shift: New Appointments in India

Renault Group has made significant leadership changes in India, appointing Vikraman V as the new chief of Renault Engineering and Sandeep Bhambra as the Head of Renault Design Centre India. Vikraman transitions from Mahindra & Mahindra and will focus on engineering excellence and innovation.

Sandeep Bhambra is set to influence Renault's future design portfolios while maintaining his role as Chief Designer Advanced Renault, reporting directly to Laurens van den Acker, Renault Group's Chief Design Officer. Bhambra is recognized for his work in France, having led Advanced Design and Concept Cars for Renault since 2021.

Stephane Deblaise, Chief Executive Officer at Renault Group India, stated that these appointments reflect the rapid emergence of India as an automotive innovation hub. Acker emphasizes Bhambra's international experience as crucial in guiding the Indian team and enhancing Renault's global design strategies.
