Bird Strike Forces Air India Emergency Landing in Vizag
An Air India Express flight bound for Hyderabad made an emergency landing in Visakhapatnam due to an engine issue following a suspected mid-air bird hit. The flight returned safely, and alternative arrangements were provided for the passengers.

An Air India Express flight enroute to Hyderabad was forced to make an emergency landing in Visakhapatnam due to engine troubles caused by a potential bird strike, officials reported on Thursday.
N Purushottam, Visakhapatnam Airport's director, revealed that the pilot of flight IX 2658 requested the emergency return shortly after departure as a precautionary measure.
The airline confirmed the bird hit and announced the aircraft's flight cancellation until its safety certification. Passengers were offered rescheduling or full refunds as compensation.
