Maruti Suzuki's Export Surge: Leading the Charge in the Global Market
Maruti Suzuki India is poised to export over four lakh vehicles this fiscal year, with over two lakh units already shipped in April-September. Achieving a 52% increase in September alone, the company leads in exports, doubling its nearest competitor. Recent free trade agreements have boosted overseas shipments significantly.

Maruti Suzuki India is set to achieve a landmark in its export figures, projecting over four lakh vehicles to be shipped in the current fiscal year. By the end of September, the company had already dispatched more than two lakh units, marking a significant milestone.
The carmaker reported a substantial 52% year-on-year increase in its September export figures, reaching 42,204 units compared to 27,728 units in the same month last year. Senior Executive Officer Rahul Bharti emphasized that Maruti Suzuki's exports outperform domestic competitors by a large margin.
In addition to its traditional vehicles, Maruti Suzuki exported 6,068 units of its electric model, the eVITARA, in August and September. Trade agreements have further bolstered its international market presence, with South Africa, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Chile, and Colombia emerging as top destinations for its models like Fronx and Jimny.
