A fatal accident unfolded on Bijnore road on Monday when a car slammed head-on into a speeding truck, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuring two others critically, according to police sources.
Circle Officer Yatendra Singh Nagar confirmed to PTI that the victims were Lakshay, aged 28, and Priyanka, aged 26, both residents of Bijnore. The entire incident has been captured on CCTV.
The truck driver fled soon after the accident, abandoning the vehicle, which has since been seized by the police for further investigation to determine the cause and liability of the incident.
