Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis proclaimed the state as India's 'investment magnet' and 'growth centre' during a meeting with the 20-20 Investment Association at the Sahyadri Guest House.
He emphasized that strategic infrastructure and policy reforms have streamlined industrial operations. Additionally, Fadnavis highlighted the government's 'Jalyukt Shivar' campaign, making nearly 20,000 villages drought-free, and announced a 500-kilometer river-linking project.
The CM also underscored initiatives for AI-based skill development to boost employment, along with efforts in ports, shipbuilding, and logistics. Fadnavis noted successful gender-focused programs like Drone Didi and Lakhpati Didi supporting women's economic independence.
