In a pioneering effort to reshape India's agricultural scenario, GNFC's NARDES introduced the Narmada Kisan Samruddhi Pariyojana (NKSP) in March 2024. This visionary initiative seeks to uplift farmer productivity, advocate scientific cultivation methods, and boost rural development across Gujarat.
Within months of its launch, the NKSP demonstrated substantial progress, narrowing the gap between agricultural research and modern field practices. Over 25,000 farmers have been profiled, and numerous interventions spanning soil analysis to yield improvements have been realized.
Employing a data-centric approach, NKSP's strategic interventions include transforming 49 agricultural centres into model hubs, offering practical support and fostering technological integration. The programme's emphasis on digital tools and collaborations stands as a testament to its commitment to enhancing agricultural output and rural livelihoods.
