Tragic Accident Claims Five Lives En Route to Ceremony

A devastating road accident resulted in the deaths of five individuals and injuries to 22 others on the Dhakherwa-Ghajiapur road under the jurisdiction of Padhuva police station.

The mishap occurred as residents from Sohariya village traveled in a tractor-trolley en route to the Karikot temple for a 'mundan' ceremony. Eyewitnesses report the vehicle overturned near a petrol pump, attributed to the driver's loss of control.

Police have identified the deceased as Nayansi, Raj Kumari, Makhana, Komal, and Panchhi. Emergency response teams rushed the injured to Ramiabehar Community Health Centre for urgent medical attention.
