In a tragic turn of events, a severe road accident claimed five lives and left seven others injured in Madhya Pradesh's Narmadapuram district. The accident involved an SUV, part of a marriage party, that crashed into a tractor on a bridge over the Tawa river near Anchalkheda.

The collision occurred at approximately 1.30 am, as the group was returning to Budhni tehsil's Mana village in Sehore district. According to local police, the SUV had a head-on collision with a tractor-trolley laden with soybeans.

Makhan Nagar police station in-charge, Anup Kumar Uikey, confirmed the identities of the deceased as Sahil Yadav (19), Hari Singh Yadav (57), Vineet Yadav (22), Shubham Morappa (18), and Santosh Prajapati. Those injured have been hospitalized in Makhan Nagar for treatment.
