In a move coinciding with Earth Day celebrations, the Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group) has enhanced its sustainability commitments, laying a clear path towards eco-friendly operations. As a prominent FMCG conglomerate, the DS Group integrates climate action into its core decision-making processes, focusing on decarbonization and resource efficiency.

Aligned with India's updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), DS Group's strategy involves developing a comprehensive Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory for FY 2024-25, assessing the full spectrum of emissions. This scientific approach enables the DS Group to make precise interventions, decreasing its carbon footprint and transitioning towards renewable energy.

Vice Chairman Rajiv Kumar emphasized the DS Group's dedication to maintaining climate considerations as a key component of their governance. The company aims for a proactive shift towards a circular economy and renewable energy, positioning itself as a blueprint for sustainable business practices in the Indian industry landscape.
