In Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh, a private bus overturned after its driver experienced chest pain and lost control, leading to an accident that injured 24 people, authorities reported on Sunday.
Occurring around 11 a.m. on the Pathankot-Mandi National Highway in the Nurpur sub-division, the bus was en route from Chamba to Una. Locals swiftly responded, assisting in the rescue efforts.
Four individuals, including the driver, sustained serious injuries and were transferred to Tanda Medical College in Kangra, while the remaining 20 are being treated at Nurpur Civil Hospital as authorities continue their investigation.
