In a strategic push to elevate locally made products to international acclaim, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has called for a comprehensive overhaul of Andhra Pradesh's industrial strategy. Addressing officials at the Real-Time Governance Society, Naidu emphasized the need to establish robust transportation networks to facilitate this growth.
Highlighting the development of economic regions in Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, and Amaravati, the Chief Minister underscored the importance of enhancing the quality of local products to ensure their competitiveness on a global scale. He also reviewed the ongoing development of industrial clusters and discussed new proposals, including a rare earth mineral park and various MSME parks.
To support this initiative, Naidu advocated for the establishment of farmer-producer organizations and introduced plans for industrial townships within each cluster. These measures aim to not only bolster economic growth but also to enhance market access for producers at local and international levels.
