In a notable achievement for the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), Dr. Anilkumar Gaikwad, its Vice Chairman and Managing Director, has been unanimously elected as the President of the India Chapter of the International Road Federation (IRF).

Dr. Gaikwad officially assumed his new role during a Council Meeting held at India International Centre, New Delhi, on May 9, 2026. His two-year tenure is expected to bolster India's presence on the global stage in the field of transportation infrastructure.

Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Gaikwad expressed his commitment to fostering safer, smarter, and sustainable mobility solutions. Having spearheaded key infrastructure projects like the Samruddhi Mahamarg expressway, his leadership continues to be instrumental in Maharashtra's development journey.
