A trainer aircraft belonging to Redbird Flight Training Academy crash-landed near Gojubavi village in Baramati, Maharashtra, on Wednesday morning due to a technical malfunction, police reported.

The incident, which occurred at 8:50 am, involved a trainee pilot as the sole occupant, who fortunately emerged unscathed, according to Pune Superintendent of Police Sandip Singh Gill. The aircraft descended at a low altitude before it struck a light pole during the crash landing.

Authorities promptly arrived at the scene to manage the situation and have commenced a detailed inquiry. Past incidents involving aircraft from the same company have also been noted in the district.
