In a groundbreaking move, CTBC Bank has launched a new branch in GIFT City, Gujarat, marking a prominent milestone in its 30-year journey within the Indian market. This establishment cements CTBC Bank's status as the first Taiwanese bank to venture into GIFT City, underscoring its role as a pivotal player in international finance.

Sanjay Kaul, Managing Director and Group CEO of GIFT City, welcomed CTBC Bank's entry, noting the branch's significant contribution to the evolving banking ecosystem. Kaul emphasized how this strategic presence reinforces GIFT City's standing as a gateway for global financial entities aiming to expand in India.

By anchoring financial transactions between India, Taiwan, and wider Asia, CTBC Bank aims to bolster cross-border trade and investment flows from its new base. The inauguration featured a traditional Lion Dance, symbolizing prosperity, showcasing the bank's readiness to deepen its economic ties with India through enhanced financial services.
