In a tragic road accident in Delhi's Bawana area, two lives were lost and three people were injured when a car allegedly collided with an e-rickshaw on Wednesday. The accident unfolded near DSIIDC Sector-2, prompting emergency response teams to the scene, according to local police.
The victims were identified as Zamir Alam, 55, the e-rickshaw driver from JJ Colony, and passenger Sone Lal Dass, 50, from Sitamarhi, Bihar. Both were declared dead upon arrival at Maharishi Valmiki Hospital. Three other individuals, Rama, Raj, and Sahana, are currently receiving medical treatment at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital.
Authorities are actively seeking the driver of the striking vehicle. Legal proceedings have been initiated, and the investigation continues as police strive to secure justice for the victims involved in this unfortunate event.
