West Bengal Governor R N Ravi has called on the state's residents to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a collective effort to fortify the nation through responsible decision-making. He highlighted actions such as fuel conservation, public transport utilization, and reduced edible oil consumption as pivotal choices.
Ravi emphasized the central government's attempts to guard against the challenges arising from the West Asia conflict. On May 10, Modi advised citizens to limit fuel usage, defer gold purchases, and suspend foreign travels, among other strategies, to bolster the economy.
The Governor encouraged institutions to adopt virtual meetings and work-from-home where possible. Addressing the populace, Ravi underlined the significance of public enthusiasm and self-reliance in creating an economically resilient India, endorsing the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision.
