Wipro Acquires Mindsprint in Major Deal with Olam Group

Olam Group Ltd has announced the successful sale of Mindsprint Pte Ltd to Wipro Limited for a final cash consideration of USD 386 million, marking a significant step in its strategy to restructure its business operations.

The sale follows the acquisition of regulatory approvals and meets the criteria of Olam's Updated 2025 Re-organisation Plan, which aims to monetize assets responsibly while providing special dividends to shareholders. Chairman Yap Chee Keong highlighted this achievement in line with prior milestones, such as the substantial divestment in Olam Agri.

Despite this transaction, Olam will continue collaborating with Mindsprint to fulfill its technology and service needs under a strategic eight-year agreement with Wipro. Olam remains a leader in food and agri-business, operating internationally and serving over 11,000 customers.
