Senco Gold Sees Profit Surge 151% Driven by Wedding Season and Gold Exchange

Senco Gold Ltd experienced an impressive 151% increase in its net profit, totaling Rs 157 crore for the March 2026 quarter, driven by solid demand from wedding shoppers and strategic metal pricing. The company benefited significantly from their old gold exchange initiative.
The company's revenue from operations expanded by 45% during this period, reaching Rs 1,997 crore. Their EBITDA also more than doubled. During this quarter, retail sales peaked at Rs 1,731 crore, with strong performance aided by consumer trends toward lighter jewelry and lower caratage.
Suvankar Sen, the Managing Director, noted consumer demand's resilience amid fluctuating gold prices. For FY 2025-26, Senco Gold reported a record revenue of Rs 8,430 crore, with plans to further expand their showroom network in the coming fiscal year.
