An Air India flight bound for San Francisco was forced to return to New Delhi mid-journey due to a technical problem. The incident occurred after the Boeing 777-300ER, carrying about 230 passengers, had been in the air for over three hours and was navigating Chinese airspace.

The aircraft returned to the Indian capital following safety protocols. Upon landing, the airline assured that the plane would undergo a technical inspection as part of its safety standards. Passengers were provided with alternative flight arrangements, refreshments, and hotel accommodations as needed.

Although Air India did not detail the specific technical snag, the airline expressed regret for the inconvenience and continued to work on expediting travel plans for affected passengers.
