Runaway Truck Tragedy in Banda Leaves Six Dead

A devastating accident unfolded in Banda, Uttar Pradesh, when a truck plowed through a group of people, resulting in six deaths and leaving four others seriously hurt. The incident occurred near Bisanda town as reported by local authorities.
The chaos began when the sand-loaded truck hit Rameshwar, a 61-year-old retired teacher, leading to multiple casualties. Following this, the truck driver, trying to evade capture, sped towards Bisanda town, colliding with an e-rickshaw near Nathoo Talab, killing four passengers on the spot.
Among the deceased e-rickshaw passengers were Mamta, Rakesh, Shahbaz, and Naveen, all from Kurrahi village. Meanwhile, Sohan Lal, who was critically injured, later passed away in the hospital. A search is ongoing for the absconding driver, with a three-month-old baby girl among those injured and still hospitalized.
