Cummins India Sees 25% Profit Surge in March Quarter

In the March 2026 quarter, Cummins India announced a significant boost in their profits, posting a 25% rise in standalone profit after tax, reaching Rs 650 crore. This marks an improvement from the prior year's fourth-quarter profit of Rs 521 crore.

The company saw its quarterly sales increase by 22.74% to Rs 2,963 crore, compared to Rs 2,414 crore in the previous year's corresponding quarter. Over the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, Cummins achieved a profit after tax of Rs 2,330 crore, significantly up from Rs 1,906 crore the year before, while total annual sales escalated to Rs 11,950 crore.

Shweta Arya, Managing Director of Cummins India, highlighted the company's success in navigating a globally integrated supply chain to meet strong demands. She stressed the importance of scale, operational efficiencies, and cost control in driving the company's growth strategy. Despite global geopolitical challenges and economic pressures, Cummins remains optimistic, expecting steady domestic demand and hopeful for export market stability in the long term.
