Tragic Collapse Claims Lives of Two Railway Engineers in Kota
Two railway engineers died after a ground collapse at an under-construction underpass in Kota, Rajasthan. The incident occurred during block-fixing work, and while no other workers were trapped, the engineers succumbed to their injuries swiftly after being transported to the hospital.

In a tragic incident, two railway engineers lost their lives when the earth gave way at an under-construction underpass on NH-52 near Dara Ghati in Rajasthan's Kota district. The collapse happened on Thursday evening, leaving the engineering team devastated.
The victims, identified as junior engineer Prabhat Singh and senior section engineer Sanjay Jha, were executing block-fixing operations when the accident occurred at around 8 pm. Despite being rushed to a hospital within 15 minutes of the mishap, doctors pronounced them dead on arrival due to the severe injuries sustained.
Railway Public Relations Officer Ravindra Lakhara confirmed that no additional workers were caught beneath the debris. The bodies have been sent for postmortem, scheduled to be conducted on Friday morning.
