Nitin Nabin, the national president of BJP, organized a strategic meeting with the Uttarakhand core committee to gear up for the 2027 assembly elections. He instructed forming dedicated teams to enhance booth performance where BJP faced setbacks in past elections.

During a three-day visit to Uttarakhand, Nabin emphasized a booth-centric electoral approach. He tasked the core committee's 17 members with visiting all assembly constituencies over the summer months to engage with local members and address regional concerns. The strategy is to secure a third consecutive term.

Uttarakhand BJP president Mahendra Bhatt confirmed the focus remains on robust booth management. There's a strong emphasis on countering opposition narratives and leveraging trust and dedication from party workers. The meeting was attended by several prominent leaders, including B L Santhosh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Nabin was warmly received in Uttarakhand, reflecting deep local support. He will participate in various meetings and pay respects to the late former chief minister, Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri.
