Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, critiqued the BJP's strategy in the Punjab elections, suggesting it is a sign of 'surrender.' He pointed to the appointment of Kewal Singh Dhillon as the state chief as evidence of this.
Kejriwal's remarks hinted that the BJP's efforts in Punjab would center around enforcement actions, such as ED and CBI raids. He emphasized local voters' resilience, stating that such tactics do not scare the people of Punjab.
The choice of Dhillon, a prominent figure from the electorally crucial Malwa region, comes as the border state gears up for upcoming assembly polls next year, with 69 out of 117 assembly seats at stake.
