HT Media Ltd announced a consolidated net loss of Rs 9.66 crore for the last quarter of FY26, a decline attributed to various exceptional items, including an impairment of loss and provisions related to the new labour code.

Despite these setbacks, the company's revenue rose by 3.46% to Rs 511.04 crore, compared to the previous year's figures for the same period. Exceptional expenses included Rs 74.39 crore, with significant impairments in both the radio and digital sectors amounting to Rs 33.06 crore and Rs 6.32 crore, respectively. The impact of the new labour codes contributed to an additional Rs 40.54 crore loss.

The company reported a profit before exceptional items and tax of Rs 93.28 crore, which marked a 9.9% increase from the same quarter last year. The print division's revenue grew significantly, boosted by advertisement income, but rising newsprint costs and market challenges have posed concerns. The radio and digital sectors faced deficits, with strategic cutbacks and refined focus mentioned as future measures.

Additionally, HT Media's board approved a Rs 5 crore investment in Mosaic Media Ventures. The company's stock saw a slight increase, closing at Rs 22.80 on the BSE, reflecting a 2.93% rise.
