The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gujarat will initiate a statewide campaign for 17 days starting next month to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 12-year leadership milestone, according to a party representative.
Commencing on June 5, World Environment Day, and concluding on June 21, International Day of Yoga, the campaign aims to integrate social welfare and development initiatives. Plans include service-oriented programs, as well as political and social activities adhering to Modi's 'report card' culture.
Key elements of the campaign feature sanitation drives, tree planting under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative, and 'Viksit Bharat' conferences. These efforts will span across 50,000 booths in Gujarat, emphasizing both natural farming practices and interaction with notable citizens.
