The Delhi Police is preparing to roll out a new initiative aimed at enhancing women's safety and empowerment from June. This campaign will encompass all 15 police districts, focusing on public participation and encouraging the swift reporting of crimes.

The campaign will see specialized police units engaging with women and girls across various segments of the community, including students, professionals, and seniors. Activities will not only aim to raise awareness about safety measures but also to empower women by making them familiar with police operations and available support systems.

Interactive sessions are planned in schools, colleges, residential communities, and with local stakeholders to educate women and girls about emergency systems, helplines, cyber safety, and legal facets pertaining to crimes against women. The campaign's goal is to demystify police processes and facilitate direct interactions with officers.

This initiative follows on the heels of the 'Nasha Not Cool' anti-drug campaign, targeting broader societal drug awareness. Similar outreach and community involvement strategies will be employed for the women's safety drive.
