Suraj Estate Expands Commercial Footprint with Key Mahim Acquisition
Suraj Estate Developers strengthens its presence in South Central Mumbai by acquiring development rights for a Mahim plot. This move, via subsidiary Iconic Property Developers, boosts their commercial project at Suraj One Business Bay, promising additional saleable area and an estimated GDV of ₹800 crores.
Suraj Estate Developers Limited, through its subsidiary Iconic Property Developers Private Limited, has announced a strategic acquisition of development rights for a prime plot in Mahim, Mumbai. This acquisition is set to enhance their ongoing commercial venture, Suraj One Business Bay, by adding approximately 1.50 lakhs square feet of saleable carpet area.
The newly acquired land, measuring around 2,941 square meters, will be integrated into the current development for a total consideration of ₹75 crore. Situated in the dynamic micro-market of Mahim, the site boasts excellent connectivity and proximity to key commercial hubs such as Lower Parel, Worli, and Bandra Kurla Complex.
This acquisition is part of Suraj Estate Developers' strategy to consolidate its market presence in South Central Mumbai. Rahul Thomas, the company's Whole-time Director, expressed optimism about the increased institutional and end-user interest in the project, underscoring its design excellence and sustainable approach.
