The Union Public Service Commission has unveiled 'Pratibha Setu', a novel initiative aimed at bridging top examination talent with verified employers across public and private sectors. This opens avenues for candidates who nearly made it to the merit list but fell short in the final selections.
Previously known as the Public Disclosure Scheme, 'Pratibha Setu' provides access to details of non-recommended willing candidates, offering a secondary opportunity for these individuals. Official sources state that this strategic move enhances recruitment by making available a qualified pool of over 10,000 aspirants.
Employers, including central government bodies and private organizations, can now register on the UPSC's platform to access these candidates, who possess impressive credentials and have cleared the challenging exam stages. The initiative, in effect since August 2018, initially covered candidates for various services such as civil, forest, and medical services.
