Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar announced on Monday the introduction of a blended mode M Tech programme in Systems Engineering, specifically crafted for industry professionals.

This unique initiative seeks to bridge the academic-industry gap, equipping engineers with essential skills for modern systems engineering. Aimed at professionals with at least three years of experience in industrial settings, the programme enhances expertise through courses in system behavior modeling, performance testing, and other advanced techniques.

Developed in collaboration with Applied Materials India Private Limited, the curriculum emphasizes practical application. IIT Bhubaneswar's Director, Shreepad Karmalkar, highlighted the programme's potential to boost academia-industry collaboration, drive R&D, and support the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
